This dartless camisole with spaghetti straps is ideal for layering or to be worn on its own. It comes with 2 necklines to choose from: a minimalistic scoop neck and a generous cowl neck. It’s cut on the bias, has a gently flared hem, and slim fit at the bust. Pair it with a Mercer Bias Skirt for a total look, or wear it under blazers, with denim, dress pants, or skirts. 

The scoop neck style is intended for a slim fit at the bust, while the cowl neck fits slightly looser. Two samples shown here are made from silk: the first version is a simple unlined silk charmeuse, while the second version is a 3 ply silk crepe de chine lined with silk charmeuse. Models for both versions are 5’10” and are wearing size 4. Size up one size if you prefer a looser fit.

Play around with different straps widths and contrasting colors to make it your own or make it into a dress. This pattern’s necklines are designed to be interchangeable with Crosby Bias Dress, or try your hand in drafting your own version. All seam allowances are included.

Suggested fabrics: medium weight fabrics with very good drape without stretch, such as crepe, charmeuse, satin, and crepe de chine in silk, viscose/rayon, acetate blends as well as synthetic blends.
