WOOSTER BIAS TOP WITH SCOOP NECKLINE: ORDER OF CONSTRUCTION

Bias camisole: it slips in and out of popularity, but it never goes out of style.
Clean finished necklines are not that difficult to execute, you just need a little patience. If you’d like to give it a try, Wooster Bias top pattern has detailed instructions and pictures explaining this process. You will also have a cowl neckline version to experiment with, and it’s even easier to put together.

In this video, you can find a method of finishing the neckline with a tiny baby hem.
There are some advantages and disadvantages to this method. It uses the least amount of fabric, it’s relatively easy and fast to make, but it will not give you as much coverage as a top with lining.
You can find this finish in many luxury RTW labels, and you can apply it to any garment’s neckline or armhole made from thin fabrics with a good drape.
Happy sewing!
